Picture the scene : All packed and ready to go, dressed for winter and departing Gatwick airport in minus temperatures (Well, it was LATE in the year). 12 hours of flying and thoughts about "Did I pack my parachute?", landing in Orlando the same time I took off! Stepped off the plane and voila! Instant 'sweat-bomb'! Going from very cold to having the sun 'under' your feet, makes for an uncomfortable journey through customs! This doesn't help when you're dressed like a Goth and set off the machine that goes 'ping', every time you pass through it! But, just as you though it couldn't get worse, it does. The room had no air conditioning! Not a good start at all, but at least the horror part of it all turned up at once. Despite this, Mickey Mouse land is still one of the best places I have ever been. Even if after the 5th day, you have had enough of the little sod and want to rip his ears off. Universal Studio entrance. A lesson to all in how to signpost your doorway!
