Fucking arseholes!
Abbey business banking! I am beginning to wonder if the presence of the mark of the devil is not such a coincidence!
08456070666 is unfortunately their business banking number. Once you navigate the mono-tone scottish lass that waffles on about recorded messages, menus and which favoured digit should strike which key... pull up a chair, place on speaker phone, sit back and be prepared to wait... and wait... and wait! 45 minutes I was on hold waiting to speak to an 'advisor'. All I wanted to do was pay myself FFS! And when you do finally get through - there is of course the bum raping length of the security questions. Safe in the knowledge that noone will be able to imitate me because they are unlikely to remember this lot that they ask...
1. Account number, Business name, My name. 2. 3rd and 7th characters of internet banking password. 3. Home address. 4. Mothers maiden name. 5. Last two digits of third group of numbers on business visa card. 6. Last two digits of fourth group of numbers on business visa card. 7. Last transaction shown on internet banking screen.
Only then - can I pay myself. What a farce!
Oh - and their sort code? 09-06-66!
You just couldnt make it up could you!!!!!!!!!!!
