Got the time?

A random fact...

I.R.S.: We've got what it takes to take what you've got!

Life: it's a funny thing really. Some of us spend all our lives writing about it - but never actually live it and some live it - but noone ever knows about it.

That being the case, I have created this. It just about covers everything I've done or am doing, from my humble beginnings as an embryo to the present day. My expectations of people actually reading this are low - but it's always nice to have some form of record of ones existence.

Journal

Actually, its more of a Rant diary really. A place for me to spout off about all the stresses and strains in my life. Ranging from the mundane to the completely ridiculous - all subjects are covered and no punches are pulled!

Some of the entries go back a couple of years as this collection of thoughts has been steadily growing; (Currently standing at 88 entries) as it is transfered from site to site. Wandering though gives you an idea of how fortunes have changed over the years...

(An easy to navigate version of the journal is available here)

Now playing: Deathstars - Genocide

Very uneventful day. With a face that now looks like a hamster, due to the swelling of the extraction a few days ago, I really wasn't in the mood to do anything. Tried to do some work, but couldn't concentrate at all. Fell asleep instead. Woke up to watch the footy and fell asleep during that too!

What with washing my mouth out on an hourly basis and 'feeling the pain' raging inside my oral cavity, the day can only be described as a complete waste of time. I only hope it eases up in the next few days. It's interferring with my sleep and I am severely tired because of it!

So, the lesson today kids: Visit your dentist regularly! Unless you want to experience immeasureable pain!

Now playing: Enya - Watermark

Yesterday was most definately a day of two halves. One spent in pain, the other still spent in pain, but eased by the events of the evening.

The dentist proved to be less than pleasent as I had to have yet another tooth pulled. All in all though, considering I put off going to the dentist for so long and the fact the the previous dentist I used was utter shit, I've only lost three teeth and they are at the back, so no one is going to notice. Now I have to find £6k for three inplants! Ouch! Thats going to hurt me more than the extractions!

With a mouth that felt like it had been invaded by a street maintainence crew I stumbled off to see the Return of the King at Leicester Sq. Trully outstanding. The Review is available here.

...I think the rest of this weekend is going to be conducted lounging around and eating soft food. At least until my face calms down from the bruising and the whole vacated by my molar has closed...

Now playing: Nothing

The moments before I visit the dentist are usually spent in a quiet environment, preparing myself for the events that are about to unfold. I can handle most things, but dentists really do put my mental state completely out of joint. It's midday now and I have two and a half hours to while away before I get drilled. I can think of better things to do with my time...

With luck - it won't be too bad and wil not spoil the evenings entertainment, which tonight is of course the third and final LOTR.Expect a review about it later.

Back to to the serenity of my personal space before the chaos of the dentists chair...

Now playing: Entombed - Boats

It's been a turbulent last couple of days.

Had a monumental bout of insomnia Tuesday/Wednedsay night when I found it impossible to sleep. As a consequence, I managed to sleep all day almost on Wednesday, waking up just in time to see Chelsea screw up and loose to Aston Villa of all teams. I was not impressed. Fell asleep straight after the footy in disgust!

Today started off well enough until...

  1. I recieved a letter from Demon Internet asking for a large sum of money on an account I closed over a year ago.
  2. Spent £112 quid in Tesco's on god only knows what
  3. Received far too many calls from my place of work when I'm supposed to be on vacation FFS!
  4. Wrote letter to Demon about the aforementioned issue, only to find my printer had died!
  5. Printer is outside of warranty! I'll have to buy a sodding new one! Grrrrr....

So, I have to fork out money for a new printer, and struggle to get demon to realise that they have fucked up. Not an easy task!

At least tomorrow will be better, AFTER I have been and had my mouth drilled to death by the dentist. Even will be spend in the company of long time chums at the screening of LOTR - Return of the King. promises to be an interesting evening.

As for now, I've had enough of life and am going to immerse myself in loud ear shattering music to drown out the fact that today has been a complete waste!

Now playing: The sound of my hard drives...

Urgh. Shouldn't have stayed up til 2:30am watching the tv. Feel quite tired now. Still, it is the start of my so called 2 week vacation, so why not! It's a 'so called' vacation, because I have to be available for Newchurch on both the Tuesdays. So, even if I wanted to go anywhere, I can't. Arse!

The bank beckons for me now, where I shall be depositing a large sum of cash, having now paid myself! Being a director has its advantages! For the rest of the day, who knows. I expect I'll do some more of Neverwinter - though I really need to return my attantion to real work at some point...
